  My hubby is flying home from Atlanta tonight....he goes there often for work.

  my grandma on dads side was a very devout jw.

  unfortunately, she couldn`t walk very well, partly because of obesity.

  My husband and I have both gotten personal letters and little tracts in the mail from local JW's.

  I even got one at my PO box that said : To the household of PO Box ____.

  It was very wierd and made me pretty angry to be violated at my mailbox....but hey at least it wasn't a bill.

  Botox at 25 years old????

  here i am 25, going on 26(birthday is on july 12th) and i am thinking about getting botox.

  i have been using anti-wrinkle lotions since i was 16. i take care of my skin daily, kind of a freak when it comes to my skin.

  anyway, i have found my answer.

  Girl you so crazy....you look great!

  Just make sure to use sunscreen. I didn't for lots of my teen years and had to have some skin cancer burned off. Not fun and you live in the land of hideous ugly until it heals!

  Well my weekend is most probably going to suck ......

  the witness- in -laws are coming for a visit .

  my hubby has slowly been getting use to the idea of never stepping into the hall ever again , he no longer feels guilty about missing meetings, and made no plans to attend summer convention .

  he has not asked me to tell him any of the research i have done (i think he really fears to know the real truth ).

  Whenever they attempt to bring up your lack of meeting attendance...I would say.

  My reasons for not attending are personal and I do not want to stumble you, but do not doubt that I still love Jehovah. Now may we please change the subject?

  Since they are staying with you I would keep it pleasant and non-confrontational.

  The best anti-witness is to be calm and loving....

  My husbands father had a stroke this weekend on the way to the Assembly. When my husband called one of the elders for info on his father and to which hospital he was taken ....The elder used it as an opportunity to hold an inquisition about my husbands feelings for Jehovah and his loving org.

  No info was given on hubby's father and he had to call another JW.

  So I believe a lack of manners and feelings could be a problem with some JW elders.

  I personally knew one elder who had claimed bankruptcy 2 times and defrauded a bunch of people. He's still in good standing even though he's obviously dishonest.

  Operation Tomorrow

  just to let you all know why i won't be able to post for some time...i am finally getting in to the hospital for a much-needed operation that kept being postponed.

  i have been back and forth to three different hospitals and various doctor's offices for tests, x-rays, consults and then more pre-op tests and x-rays.

  (i have never heard of "nuclear testing before now...i wondered if they were going to send me to nasa!

  Spread the good....chickenpox!?

  my mum was just telling me today how 'good' my cousin is as she got to the assembly with her four kids, even though one of them is poorly with chicken pox!.

  wouldn't you call that just being plain stupid?!.

  me, i'm reduced to just smiling politely and remembering when i would have been that stupid!

  I think that was absolutely thoughtless of your relative.

  My son was vaccinated against chicken pox and he still got chicken pox! Our youngest was vacinated as soon as his brother came down with chicken pox and didn't get it.....perhaps he will someday too.

  I would be pissed if someone brought their sick kid around my healthy family purposely. What a jerk!

  great guitarist....guitar solos...and performances

  i am collecting guitar musicians.......their music.

  i am collecting great perfomances.....rare ones of musicians that would not otherwise be together......

  i wold love your input.........and would share music with those interested.

  Okay I have to mention her because I love her music so much.

  Susan Tedeschi - she is an amazing musician and guitarist.

  I love John Mayer - his new album is phenomenal.

  Jonny Lang - young and talented guitarist wish I'd see more of him live.

  G Love & The Special Sauce - Amazing live performances...not so great albums.

  The Gypsy Kings - have seen them in concert many times. Amazing guitarists and the music is awesome!

  Steely Dan - don't know who the guitarist is - my husband would....saw them in concert - Fabulous!

  Bonnie Raitt - need I say more!

  If anything...go buy Susan Tedeschi and The Gypsy Kings!

  I don't get it...a jw & ebay thing

  let me just start by saying...i sell on ebay.. when people are buying things from me, i sometimes click on their feedback to see what they have bought in the past because i am bored and obviously don't have enough to do with the 2 kids, house, 3 dogs, and 4 cats...lol!.

  this one guy who is bidding on one of my auctions has purchased at least 10 of the old purple jw kingdom interlinears.. are they really that interesting?

  is he one us us spreading the real truth or is he a jw buying back old light?.

  The gentleman who I was looking at on ebay paid from $17-37 for his various Kingdom Interlinears.

  I've been watching JW stuff auctions because I have old/new light in the basement that I want gone...LOL!
